Phillip R. Lamb holds degrees in Organ Performance from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts (B. Music, 2011) and Manhattan School of Music (M. Music, 2014). He has served in a diverse array of liturgical settings ranging from Trinity Moravian Church in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, Saint Mary’s Abbey, Delbarton (Order of Saint Benedict) in Morristown, New Jersey, to historic Saint George’s Episcopal Parish in Flushing, Queens, where he led a unique trilingual music program. Phillip currently serves as Director of Music and Organist at The Church of St. Pius X in Montville, NJ.
Phillip has had the pleasure of performing on some of the East Coast’s most beloved organs, such as those at New York’s Riverside Church, Church of Saint Mary the Virgin, Brick Presbyterian Church, Grace Church (Episcopal). Phillip has appeared a number of times at Boardwalk Hall and is excited to return. He can be heard performing “In the Bleak Midwinter” and “Carol Rhapsody” on the Historic Organ Restoration Committee’s Deck the Hall – a CD recording of Christmas music for the organ.
