About the event
An organist, composer, conductor, and improvisor, Wolff von Roos is a young and active independant concertist who has performed across the United States & Canada. He has been a featured performer on the San Francisco American Guild of Organists National Black History Month Concert as well the national radio music program "Pipedreams". Wolff has been described and hailed as a "powerhouse" musician that shows no fear of the instrument and isn't afraid to get the most out of it. He is best known for his use of Improvisation. Wolff currently holds the title of Artist in Residence at Broadway United Methodist Church in Indianapolis, IN where he assists as one of the two organists and acts as the sub minister of music directing the choir on occasion. In additon, Wolff is also the Principal Organist of First Friends Quaker Meeting in Indianapolis, IN. By day you can find him on the organ bench, but by night you'll most likely find Wolff playing guitar with his jazz funk & fusion trio, "Von Roos & The Wolffpack". On the sidlelines for fun when not playing music, you can also find Wolff on the road or in a different city in various hot rod muscle cars. Wolff is also the only living person in the whole field of organists that wears a cape in real life.
