Kick off our 11th year of recitals with songwriter, film composer, and organist Nathan Avakian performing a 45-minute recital on the World's Largest Pipe Organ. Since winning the American Theatre Organ Society Young Organist Competition in 2009, Nathan has provided pipe organ entertainment across the United States and internationally, including performances in Australia, New Zealand, Canada, and Thailand. He has released several albums featuring theatre and classical pipe organs as well as virtual orchestrations.

 

Join the Historic Organ Restoration Committee and Nathan following the noon recital for a catered lunch and an opportunity to meet Nathan. Following lunch, ticketholders will enjoy a special private Curator’s Tour with opportunities to see an area not included on the regular tour - the 4th Level Swell Division. This unique look into the upper levels of the organ will also include the newly finished Choir Blower Room.
